Aggressiveness, silence, prudence, violence, ugliness, beauty, irony, tragedy, politics, love, family, etc., in art, always satisfy the retina in a certain way. I intend this to be seen by the
viewer through the artistic language I propose. My creation is not meant to change the world but to narrate about the possible changes.
Ilie Mitrea ( b. 1983 in Romania) attended the Art and Design University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and the Academia di Belle Arti of Bari, Italy. In 2013 Mitrea was awarded his Phd at the
Art and Design University of Cluj-Napoca, Department of Painting. Exhibitions include Florence Biennial International Exhibition of Contemporary where he was awarded „The fourth prize and medal:
“Lorenzo de Medici”. Textile Art”, Romart Biennial International Exhibition of Contemporary Art, Rome, Italy.
