Beata is a practicing visual artist based in Studio Voltaire in London. She is also a Qualified Teacher (QTS). Beata studied Drawing at Camberwell College of Art, (BA 2008), MA Fine Art at
Chelsea College of Art and Design in London (2010) and also Polish Literature and Linguistics at University of Warsaw (MA 2004). She has been exhibiting in many group exhibitions in London,
Manchester, Warsaw and Bielefeld. In addition she curates several shows and projects in London. such as: ‘Invisible means of support’ in Rochelle School, collaborative project ‘Ponglish for
beginners’ in Victoria Baths Manchester, SLWA projects. Beata was awarded a prize for contemporary sculpture by UH Galleries in ‘Eastern Approaches’ in Hatfield, several art residencies, KCCC
(Klaipeda, Lithuania, Cortijada los Gazques, (Spain), 'Working title' in Aspex Gallery (Portsmouth). She also participates in collaborations within South London Women Artists (SLWA) and also
events at open Art studios in Studio Voltaire in South London.
